Milledgeville Convention & Visitors Bureau

Bright Ideas Group coordinated strategic planning sessions with the Milledgeville CVB’s Board of Directors in the Spring of 2001. A creative concept featuring Capitals, Columns and Culture was developed to feature the community’s historic architecture and unique attractions. The new branding campaign was also embraced and adapted by additional local agencies including the Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Council, Main Street Milledgeville and the City of Milledgeville. The campaign was recognized with three top awards from the Georgia Association of Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. The campaign was also an Addy winner in the Central Georgia Advertising Federation’s awards for creative excellence. The rack brochure, a visitor’s guide and CD-based electronic press kit were published and are currently distributed through welcome centers and key outlets. We continue to work on a project basis to develop the campaign.
