Greater Goldsboro, North Carolina

After a regional agency search, Bright Ideas Group was awarded the contract to develop a new brand identity for Goldsboro-Wayne County, North Carolina, in Fall 2000. Utilizing the results of a new research study that had recently been conducted, we developed a new name, branding position, web template, and graphic identity for the region. We developed a web site, rack brochure, visitors guides and a series of print ads for Greater Goldsboro. The tourism department was a new branch managed in cooperation with the city and county governments, in affiliation with the Chamber of Commerce. This was a grassroots project that basically had to be developed from scratch. Recently Goldsboro was featured on the Discovery Channel as a suggested travel destination.
