Macon. Discover it.

Hundreds of media partners, community supporters, Greater Macon chamber members and Macon residents attended the Macon. Discover It. campaign launch event at the Cox Capitol Theatre on April 4, 2007. Plans were unveiled to actively engage and inspire Macon residents in all neighborhoods and all demographics by showcasing the best that our community has to offer. A new community branding campaign and website were produced to motivate locals and promote civic pride. The website features a comprehensive interactive resource guide at www.discovermacon.org. Media partners offered advertising support for the campaign along with extensive news and promotional coverage. Special contests and events also encourage residents to discover Macon.
